2.
They showed up in dreams you never noticed before with a knife and a grin and computers and drills they held us like cattle with tags on our ears but when the world got hotter, they ran for the hills But people were scared though, just as people are they ran from the boy with the magnifying glass we hid in their basements, and closed all our eyes too scared of finding what we shouldn't find
3.
"I tried to tell her, maybe she's got more need for a pistol around here... for when words don't matter."

You know he thought about her every day you know he thought about here even when the sun came you know he thought about her every day but the life that he led meant that she couldnt stay He said it's temporary, cause he knows they cause pain but between the dead cats and the drilling of brains he knows a job like that would surely drive him insane they wont change him for the worse, they wont change his ways He came home from work after he said he would quit but he only ever smelt like the books that they lit she packed up her bags and he begged her to stay but he's changed for the worse and it won't go away

CHORUS: Is there anybody out there x3 Who cares? VERSE 1: Controlling our lives they like to watch us cry only built to conform that's why our lives are torn sometimes It's a blind faith it's a cruel waste it's a bitter taste so why I find it rather intriguing now seeing is believing and believing is the new definition of perceiving I'm in the future I'm in a booth like I'm living in 3008 this music gave me a lane to ride in but there ain't cars in the sky yet so hold tight because I'm in flight like a plane with a blist of light CHORUS VERSE 2: I want to say rest in peace to our friends, family who died in the heat RIP, I hope you're looking down on me this musical vibe that usually moves inside of my mind life's wrong I strive on, regardless of anything, I am strong I've got all that I need- a mic and a beat to see how alive I can be while the sun is waging a war there's a war going on in our very own streets I say that life's too short to end up in their thoughts so why not give music a thought and use it to glide like a hawk, listen. CHORUS x3

"And I was alone with the thing- but I couldn't see it! And nothing happened. I started backwards. I knew it was following me because I could hear it meowing like a cat. And there it was."

about

A few things to know about THE EVENTUAL HEAT DEATH OF THE UNIVERSE:
1: This is a concept album which is set in the vaguely near future.
2: A corporation by the name of "Them" have taken control over the planet, making people abide by invasive privacy laws.
3: In this future, the sun has grown very close to the earth, giving humans and any other life on the planet about a day or two to live.
4: As the sun gets closer, the heat begins to get to people's heads and they start seeing things which aren't there.
5: This EP/Album/Mixtape is about different people's reactions to the catastrophe in everyone's last few hours.
